PANEER DO PYAZA
A quick and easy Tiffin recipie for my daughter.
Early in the morning, when I feel like adding something special to my daughter's lunch box Paneer with small whole onions with lil spices and lil tomato sauce and multigrain Parathas makes a great lunch for her.
Try this recipie for your tiffin, you will love it.
INGREDIENTS
*1 cup Paneer cubes
7 small onions peeled .Give a cross cut on onions. Do not separate.
1tomato chopped
Green chilli (optional)
Green coriander for garnish
2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1/4 turmeric powder
1/4 coriander powder
Red chilli as per taste
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon tomato sauce
3 tea spoon of any cooking oil.Use butter if making for children.
Let's begin
Heat butter/ oil in a pan.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli.
Saute for few seconds
Add turmeric, coriander powder,Red chilli, tomatoes. And stir.
Add tomato sauce and salt.
Cook onions in the spices till it gets soft. Do not over cook.
Add very lil water if it is dry.
Add paneer. Place the lid to cover the Pan.
Cook for 2 min.
Garnish with coriander.
Paneer with onions is ready to be packed with multigrain Paranthas OR can be consumed as brunch with salad, curd or pickle.
